I\'m an Artist who loves to incorporate reclaimed, vintage objects and materials into my creations to add character and history.
Every object has a tale to tell and every picture paints a story. Trying to apeal to as many of the human senses as possible I have utilised art as means of empowerment and method of expression for children and adults with barriers to formal communication or other social, emotional or physical difficulties. It has has powerful, positive results.
I adore the aestheic of Wabi Sabi which values the organic beauty of \'imperfection\' created by age, wear and weather:- a gem os sea glass, fractured pottery, a stained & tattered book page for example.
My Bi-Polar mind provides a rich (& relentless!) source of surreal images and my art is a means of manifesting them into something tangible - objects of art which go out into the world & become enrinched via the experences of those who behold it... |
