50 Shades of Trash by funkcutter :: You need to be a member to contact artists →Join :: Portfolio A heady mixture of gender fluid / liberal minded / drum and bass soundscaped / orifice ogling / VJ terra-ist / edited enemas from the one and only Amazing Mouse performing live in London shot by film makers; multi disciplinary artists; old school award winning (Mixmag 2004) VJs - punkvert (Candiflip Blackwood and funkcutter) with additional camera work from Zoe Rixon (editor of "Penny Slinger - Out of the Shadows" - Raindance selection)
Mouse performed this show, entitled "50 Shades of Trash" as a tribute to young cancer victim, drum and bass DJ Dominator, who died in 2017 aged 33. Using VJ and film making skills honed by working the nightclubs (guest VJ at Turnmills with Reality Check) and squat parties of the Nineties and Noughties, funkcutter turned this sticky, messy bodily fluid, dystopian excessive drug and drink gobbling contortionist's head trip and turn up the volume, constrast, saturations and pretty much any other knob they can twist til the pips squeak. Raincoats strongly advised. The film piece itself is in the region 14 minutes long. full video available to view here - https://vimeo.com/231790023 password - "fuckcancer" | |
