Convex lens creates makes infinitely altered spectres and rays of cut out drawings and devotional texts, making the production of the sutra in the manuscript, which is here written written by hand as opposed to being mechanically printed or digitally reproduced, an act of devotion.
This piece represents the Pali term sometimes translated as "wisdom-being". Inside the box there is a many handed being which is a symbol of compassion. Written quotes from the book 'the Bodhisattva Ideal' who's author is Sangharakshita the leader of the The Triratna Buddhist Community are partly hidden. The Antlers paper-mache constructed from the Buddhist text, attempting to find another way besides words to describe compassion.
