My work examines the emotion of the domestic space. Here the tangled emotions of intimacy are mirrored by the tangled shapes, no longer individual people but responses to confused or negative emotions of self deception. The views outside are also coloured by the same views.
I have used oil bars on the image to highlight urgency and immediacy contrasted against more solid areas of painting.
