My work examines the emotion of the domestic space, and this painting looks at the tangled emotions of intimacy. The bed may not be a positive space and the views beyond coloured by experience and even hostility.
I work in oil on canvas, and use oil bard on the surface of the work to heighten the tension and create a sense of urgency where they contrast withother areas of painting.
