| Marie Jacotey was born in Paris in 1988 and currently lives and works in London. She graduated from an MA at the Royal College of Arts in 2013. In 2014, she was selected to be part of the Bloomberg New Contemporaries exhibitions and had her first solo show at Hannah Barry Gallery. She was also very highly commended for the Women erotic art prize. She is currently exhibiting a new body of work in a solo show at Heike Moras and is working toward the 60st Salon de Montrouge to be held in Paris in May where she will be in residency for the month of April. Upcoming shows include as well a group exhibition at Tatjana Peeters Gallery in Ghent, The third venue of the New contemporaries show in Cornwall, both opening in March, and a group exhibition in June at Rook and Raven gallery. Her work was featured in Garageland magazine, Tender Journal (#4), T�l�rama, Sourire magazine, as a Mini Kus and, online, on Hunger TV as well as on Studio International. |
