Maria holds a Masters Degree in Fine Art from The Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan,
Poland, Department of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, and has since also studied
Exposition and Display at The Poznan National College of Arts.
Resident of England lives and works in London.
“ I am fascinated by exploring the definition of identity and the coexistence of people
living within different multi-cultural environments. At the same time, I am interested in
the increasingly virtual and social interface of the modern world and its
consequences on human relationships.“ These topics are equally as important to me
as the way that I express my emotions by using colour, form and various, mixed
media techniques. When creating my artwork, IÂ am combining both subject and
representation. My ultimate aim is to undertake and convey a search for
understanding of a particular topic - through art.
Maria’s art works include painting, drawing, pastels, traditional printmaking, digital
graphics and installation. Her works have been exhibited all over Europe as well as
Russia and Latin America and she has received several awards.
Artworks are in private collections in Italy, Switzerland, USA, Russia, Cuba, Poland,
China and England.
