Not much of a Biography as i am Self taught artist , though i did spend a magical year and a half at Norwich City college doing a foundation course in Art and Design sadly due to health issues i was unable to complete it.
I have worked as a textile artist for many years, working primarily with wool, silk and other natural fibres be it weaving, felting, silk paper making ,needle felting and knitting.
Completed Jan 2010 `Fractions of R.E.M' which look at symbols/pictures that have meanings in my dreams. My painting is always bright and colourful, i love working with colour.
(August 2010)Last week i chose to exhibit my new body of work at the local shopping centre as i like to attract a range of people who might not enter galleries as a usual outing. The support was fantastic and young and old visited my barrow to look at "Abstract Illusion" an umbrella of 3 months of work. The work was created to help me deal with physical pain that plagues my everyday life. Anyone who lives with constant pain needs to gain control of it and this is my way of doing so.
I have exhibited in the Mall Galleries in London with a textile piece.
