| I am a digital artist with over 15 years’ experience. Fascinated by how new technologies transform the way we create, I paint on an an iPad using finger-painting applications. iPad art is my most recent and rapidly growing form of artistic engagement. The majority of my works are based on real events, such as cultural celebrations, public proceedings, and community gatherings. I am certain that the development of new technologies, the increasing popularity of hand-held digital devices, and the exceedingly global use of social media calls for the development of new forms of mobile and internet-orientated artwork. This is the reason I explore the creative capacity of digital platforms such as iPads; iPads are not only innovative 21st century mediums for creativity, but also tools for instantaneous sharing and creative discussion. From the moment my fingertips hit the screen, my digital creations become quickly absorbed into the ever-expanding realm of social media.
