My work originates from life drawing and the conventions and traditions of the female nude. I am currently studying for a practice based PhD, questioning whether the body of feminist theory that critiques the figurative representation of women in western art remains relevant to current painting and drawing practice. My drawings and paintings are usually large scale. recent works consider multiple perspective viewpoints and incorporate stitching.
