Wow! Wow!     (Back to list)

I have just found this resource after looking on the artists newsletter website. I think it's fantastic! It's great to be able to look at other artist's work that you feel links to your own practice. Also, knowing there is a space you can freely use is very good too.

In reply to Ros, I live in Glasgow at the moment. I did consider moving to London with my partner Neil but we felt that we would be a bit lost there. Glasgow is great, you have a thriving art scene in a small city. If you need to, you can be out of the city in around an hour.

As a recent graduate, I do feel the need to be inner city just now, for studio space etc. I'm from rural Stirlingshire and also needed a job fast after University so I would have struggled for employment, studio rental, networking and with visiting exhibitions as I don't have a car. However most of the contacts and galleries I have been working with have been found online, e-mail and occasional trips to visit the galleries seems to be working just now.

Does anyone have any comments about how they feel the internet is working for them? How about copyright and all that?

Kim :)
