I recently advert my upcoming open studio in the mailshot. I got more than 30 answers in the following days. 15 members wished to attend the event and asked my details - I choose not to give my detail on the mailshot-
If you want to touch a large number of members, the alert/mailshot is a great option. Within a minimum time spent on the computer you will get amazing results. Having say that, I am going to send a reminder for my open studio.
