Oil and silver leaf on canvas,
Inspired by Cubistic Still Life and Tantric paintings. Cage like shape covered with silver leaf contains a Red Bird reminiscent of an opening, doorway, female and male forms. The feathers floating outside the cage suggest the process of transformation but also a desire to escape/change.
